Camping- Holland 09

We went camping this past weekend at Holland State Park with the Barczaks, Huffs, Collins, and Howards. 10 adults and 7 children camping for 4 days makes for a fun and crazy weekend. I can't believe how great the whole weekend went. We had SUCH a good time. Camping of all things! ME- camping!!! I feel so lucky to have found this great group of friends right here in my hometown. It is rare to find this many couples and children that genuinely enjoy being around each other.
We went up early on Thursday with the Barczaks and Collins and after setting up our borrowed pop-up in the pouring down rain we went into downtown Holland with the Barczaks to eat dinner at the New Holland Brewery and see the street performers. Other highlights were going to the gorgeous beach on Saturday, eating s'mores for breakfast lunch and dinner, big family style cookouts, watching the kiddos ride their various modes of transportation around the campground, our "family picture" in coordinating colors, and our very entertaining late night campfire talks.

For more pictures and stories check out Nicole, Katie, and LeeAnn's blogs. We are already looking forward to next year :)
