Here it is- my 100th post. Can you believe it?
I started this blog last December as a way to keep friends and family posted with pictures of Grace. I had no idea that through this blog I would meet so many wonderful people who have become such great friends. I had no idea that anyone would care about reading it much less be loyal followers, lurkers, and faithful commenter's. I had no idea I would inspire others to start blogs too. I had no idea that it would become such an outlet for me to share my experiences being a mom. I had no idea I would be so transfixed by others blogs as well. I had no idea I would appreciate being able to go back and remember little details that I would have otherwise forgot. I had no idea that a simple blog could do all this and more but now I do. So...I am sending a big fat blog hug to all of you out there who have told me how much you enjoy it, those of you who told me how nice it is to watch Grace grow up even if you don't see her very often, and those of you who have opened your arms to include me in the blogosphere.
So, I am doing a random drawing and giving away a $25 gift card to Red Lobster (which can also be used at Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, and Bahama Breeze). All you have to do is leave a comment and tell me:

Isn't blogging the absolute best? You just can't know how great it is until you dive right in and meet so many great people!

1) My favorite thing about blogging is that I have all my memories of Grant in all one place and it's just a click away for me to re-live them. Also, I love reading other people's blogs!

ReplyDelete1. The people. It's amazing the friendships created thru blogging. I am looking forward to meeting more of them. Many of my blogging friends I talked with more than friends in my own town. Crazy how that works.

ReplyDelete1) As a work @ home mom in a city where I have no friends or family nearby, I love that blogging gives me a chance to share and know the happenings of my friends through this illustrated journal.
2) I am partial to mommy blogs and most enjoy when you share your experiences as a mom. I'm enjoying reading about your journey!
My favorite thing about blogging is sharing what's going on with me, and my family with those members of my family that aren't around us a lot. Mostly my mom! I started blogging for her, and it has grown into an obsession now for sure!
